The Georgia Appraisers Coalition began during the state license law era and reflects the views of different appraisal organizations. The Coalition also offers an effective communication channel for appraisers, lawmakers and government regulatory agencies.

The Coalition receives a majority of its funding from the Appraisal Institute. The Coalition employs the services of Fiveash-Stanley and Haydon Stanley.

For the last 10 years, the Georgia Appraisers Coalition has hosted an annual event at the Old Georgia Railroad Freight Depot in downtown Atlanta. The luncheon typically includes a speaker panel of state legislators, state commissioners and regulators. Topics include real estate-related matters pending in legislature, or other pertinent issues in the mortgage, banking and real estate industries.
